I’m a second-year PhD student in the Department of Mathematics at Stony Brook University, New York, fortunate to be advised by John Pardon. I enjoy thinking primarily about problems in symplectic topology. Earlier, I studied mathematics at Lafayette College, where I was advised by Justin Corvino, and spent three semesters in the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics program. My name is pronounced Jay-who-n.
This semester I am co-organizing the Student Seminar on ∞-Categories with Joj Helfer and the Student Seminar on Symplectic Topology with Frank Zheng. In Fall 2025, I am the teaching assistant for MAT 315/526 - Advanced Linear Algebra.
Here is a copy of my Curriculum Vitae.
